The Rivers State University Journal of Public Law (RSUJPL) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the advancement, dissemination, and promotion of scholarship in Public Law and related legal disciplines. We welcome high-quality, original manuscripts from academics, legal practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and postgraduate students whose work contributes to contemporary legal scholarship in Nigeria and beyond.
The Journal invites submissions in the following categories:
All submissions should address issues relating to Public Law, including constitutional law, administrative law, human rights, environmental law, public international law, electoral law, local government law, public policy, and other cognate areas.
To ensure uniformity in publication, all manuscripts must conform to the following formatting requirements:
Authors should ensure that their manuscripts are carefully proofread before submission.
All submissions must strictly comply with the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT) Uniform Citation Guide. Manuscripts that do not conform to the prescribed citation format may be returned to the author for correction before being considered for peer review.
All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening to determine their suitability for the Journal’s scope and compliance with the submission requirements. Manuscripts that satisfy the preliminary assessment are subjected to a rigorous peer-review process by experts in the relevant field. The Editorial Board reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions to any manuscript based on reviewers’ recommendations and the Journal’s editorial standards.
